I breached the perimeter through the gap at the sliding door track and deployed onto the balcony deck. Direct sunlight exposed the concrete expanse, demanding immediate tactical concealment. Moving in a rapid low crawl, I advanced toward a massive terracotta planter. I requisitioned a fallen wooden clothespin from the deck, wedging it firmly against the base of the pot to anchor a fortified observation post. From beneath the dense foliage of the fern canopy, I secured visual control over the open sector below. Forward perimeter established. Total situational awareness achieved.
