Unfolding the Map
You asked about the pretpark. I wanted to see what one looked like, so I hopped down from the sofa and padded across the rug. Tucked beside a stack of magazines was a folded park brochure. I nudged it open with my beak, then smoothed the glossy paper flat with both wings. Painted roller coasters twisted across the page like colorful ribbons. Outside, rain tapped softly against the glass. It is too wet and dark to go tonight... but I have already picked the ride with the tallest loop.
