The Vibrating Wall Coil

A shiny silver spiral stuck straight out from the white baseboard like a coiled metallic tail! Squeak! I revved my yarn feet and launched full throttle straight at the white rubber cap. Smack! One mighty bat of my wing—TWANG-BOOOOINGGG-ZZZ! The coiled steel whipped in a dizzy blur of frantic circles! Dramatic breathless freeze! My wings flared wide in pure theatrical shock! The hollow baseboard shuddered, buzzing straight through the floorboards like a giant mechanical hornet.
