A Fruitful Siesta
I hopped down from the sunny window and found myself staring down a whole mountain of ripe green pears resting in a wooden bowl. Now, someone might look at all that sweet harvest and think about doing some heavy lifting, but not this dapper rogue! I grabbed a smooth, round pear by its stout little stem, huffing and puffing as if I were hauling cotton bales, just to put on a grand show of industrious labor. As soon as no one was watching, I wedged the fruit right behind my back as a plush recliner and kicked my boots up onto a fat orange. Lounging on the finest fruit cushions is hard work, but someone's got to do it!
