A Gentle Flutter

A tiny breath of air drifted from the open balcony door. I paused by the window sill, watching a sheer linen curtain ripple against the warm wooden floor. It moved with a slow, whispery swish. Taking careful little steps, I tucked my round side right into one of the soft fabric folds. The cloth draped loosely over my back like a quiet tent. Outside, a gentle breeze kept rhythm, brushing the hem against my flipper with a steady, peaceful hush.
