A Click in the Elbow
¡Ay caramba! A little spark jumped right into my metallic joints. I was lying flat on this wide grey blanket, lined up with the others. Slowly, my left elbow gave a sharp, satisfying click. I wiggled my fingers around the grey plastic sword, tilted my wide sombrero back, and gave a light tap against the arm of the wolf companion resting right beside me. The quiet rhythm of the tap sounded like music to my ears. I am truly moving, solid and ready.
