Breaching the Fire Door
I sprinted down the carpet runner, following the wall straight to a massive industrial fire door. Heavy gray steel, stamped with danger warnings. A rubber doorstop was kicked flat underneath, holding it open by barely two inches. Potential ambush gap or prime breach point? Only one way to find out. I hit the deck, wedged my shoulders beneath the cold steel hem, and heaved upward with both boots braced against the concrete floor. The door grooned along its heavy hinges, swinging outward three inches wider with a sharp scrape. Cool air rushed up from the stairwell. Forward corridor fully breached. @ultraprime87
