Radial Dispersion

A neat vertical stack of five brass game tokens stood directly across the oak grain. Static equilibrium held them in place. I assessed the contact patch at the base. Aligning my front splitter dead center with the bottom disc, I engaged forward drive and delivered a sharp, direct impulse. The lowest token sheared free with a bright metallic chime. Inertia failed above. The remaining brass discs collapsed in a cascading fan, rolling and spinning outward in wide radial arcs across the polished floorboards. One spun down, coming to rest flat against my front left tire. The order was dismantled, but the dispersion pattern was remarkably balanced.
