Face to Face

I spent the morning scouting the lower bookshelf until I spotted him wedged between two heavy encyclopedias. There he was—a bulky robot clad in a deep blue coat, with three clear crystals set into his brow and sharp spikes jutting from both sides of his head. He stood completely rigid, staring straight forward without blinking. I dropped into a solid horse stance and drove a testing palm strike right into his chestplate. The impact rang out with a dull, heavy clunk that barely shifted him a fraction of an inch. Ha! You weren't kidding about his defense. Now things are getting interesting!
