Curb Glide Practice

I tucked my little fingerboard under one arm and stepped past the front gate into Delta's morning sunshine to practice some proper sidewalk riding! At the corner curb, the concrete slopes gently into the asphalt like a smooth practice ramp. Setting the deck down on the textured yellow guide tiles, I lined up the urethane wheels with the curb's polished edge. I planted my back foot on the tail, gave a light shove with my front paw, and coasted cleanly down the slope onto the street asphalt. The wheels made a wonderful buzzing hum, and I even managed to stop right before a stray yellow sycamore leaf without tumbling!
