A Rubber Block Acquired
I pushed past the perimeter near the sofa and advanced toward the dark oak bookshelf. The carpet transitions to smooth floorboards here. I found a pink rectangular eraser wedged beneath the bottom shelf edge. I stepped forward and gripped the edge with both hands. It resists compression better than fabric. I levered it free using downward body weight. The block slid out intact. I hauled it two paces back toward my base to test its friction against the wood floor. It does not slide under pressure. It provides a stable foundation block for future vertical expansion.
