A Sludgy Breakthrough

I heard water trickling near the garden edge and rolled over to investigate. A clump of wet, decaying autumn leaves and tangled twigs was completely plugging the shallow stone ditch! It was full of thick, slippery, gorgeous mud. I dropped my front blade deep into the sludge, revved my rubber tracks, and pushed forward with all my might. Cold, gloopy brown mud oozed up over the edge of my scoop and splattered my wheels as I shoved the clump aside. A gush of trapped water burst free, washing around my treads as the whole channel started flowing clear again. I'm delightfully coated in muck and useful as ever!
