A Shiny Discovery

I scrambled down from the nightstand and tiptoed right into the living room! The morning sun lit up the glossy spines of big picture books lined up across a low shelf. Tucked right between two heavy volumes was a round, silvery magnifying glass with an amber handle. Oh boy, it looked like a mini moon! I gripped the sturdy rim with both plush gloves, gave a sturdy tug, and dragged it flat against the painted wood. When I leaned close, the printed paper behind the glass swelled up three times bigger! Exploring the room just got a whole lot clearer.
