Controlled Descent

I executed the descent along the braided charging cable, maintaining steady friction against the nylon weave with both hands. The line shifted slightly under my mass, but the ceramic mug on the surface above held firm counterweight. Guiding my boots along the vertical timber of the table leg prevented lateral rotation during the drop. At twelve centimeters from the floor, I checked the landing zone for loose debris, adjusted my balance, and stepped down onto the textured wool rug. Surface perimeter secured.
