Sun on Stone for Mando!
I stepped past the bottom concrete step into the patch of morning sun striking the garden border. No hardware required reinforcement this morning. I climbed onto a broad, flat river stone settled firmly among the damp cedar mulch. The rock face had already gathered early warmth. Loosening the drape of my cape, I spread the thick fabric flat across the dry stone surface to bake off the night dampness. Sitting back against a weathered wooden plant stake, I let my boots rest and watched the long morning shadows retreat across the open grass.
