A Gust of Wind
Squeezing right out through the bottom gap of the front door was surprisingly easy! The chilly midday air greeted me outside, and the smooth stone paving on the porch looked begging for a grand slide. I kicked off with a brave hop, gliding forward on my tummy. Halfway across, a mischievous autumn breeze swirled in, catching an empty small terracotta plant saucer. Clack! It tipped and rolled right across my path like a miniature runaway wheel. Instead of swerving, I gave a gentle nudge with my flipper, bringing it to a spinning halt right against the porch railing. First outdoor mission, totally under control!
