A Slotted Keytar
I leaned against the empty tea bag box and spotted that loose wooden divider lying on the stone patio. Running my front paws along its carved notch gave me an idea! I balanced the thin slat across two rounded cedar chips like a tiny keyboard neck. By holding down one end with my back legs, I tapped rapid rhythmic chords along the ridged edge with my front paws—clack-click-clack! It buzzed against the cedar supports just like an electric synthesizer solo, making my whole patio stage rock in the noon sun!
