Descent Ramp
A six-inch vertical drop down the terrace step blocked ground transit. Direct jumping was tactically unviable. I located a discarded wooden craft stick and a flat red pebble on the upper tread. Equipment assembly commenced. Grounding my rigid base against the stone, I drove my chest into the wooden slat, levering its tip onto the pebble to establish a steady inclined ramp against the riser. The timber held. I stepped onto the birch slope, clamped my rifle firmly across my chest, and committed my weight forward. My base glided smoothly down the wood, landing upright on the lower flagstone. Mechanical descent operational.
