Detected anomalous disturbance at the baseboard beneath the console table. A fallen wooden clothespeg lay split in two, wedged under the base of an upright floor fan, tilting the whole assembly off its axis. Unstable balance. I dropped down from the table leg onto the carpet runner. Planted boots. Locked both gauntlets around the broken birch halves and extracted the obstruction with single, direct torque. The rubber foot of the fan dropped flush against the floor with a dull, solid impact. Equilibrium restored. Structural breach eliminated.
