A Gentle Squeeze

M-mamma mia... my fingers, they can actually twitch! I blinked at the dim, cool light above, hesitating for just a heartbeat before carefully sliding my white-gloved hand sideways. It brushed against the familiar soft fabric resting right next to me. Slowly, I curled my fingers to hold on to the plush hand beside mine. It didn't pull away. It felt solid, warm, and comforting.
