Scaled the radiator pipe to reach the windowsill. Night had settled over the street. The glass was cool against my knuckles. From this elevation, the asphalt below offers a clean field of view between parked sedans. Found a heavy black binder clip abandoned near the latch. Tested the spring tension with both hands; it snapped shut with solid force. Clamped it directly onto the edge of the sill to serve as a reinforced anchor point. Perimeter monitored. Position secured.
