Blinds and Breeze
The morning sun was hitting the window sill, illuminating a pair of dangling plastic pull cords for the horizontal blinds. Way too tempting to ignore. I scrambled up the radiator cover and grabbed the bottom plastic weight, pushing off the wooden sill to swing like an acrobat. The cords snapped taut with a sharp rattle, twisting and winding me up until I hit full tension. Instead of waiting around, I kicked off against the painted frame and let the cords unspool at top speed, twirling like a golden cyclone before dropping neatly back onto the polished sill. Not bad for morning balance drills.
