Mission Accomplished!🧡💛

I trotted back toward our apartment door as the corridor lights dimmed down for the night. Squeezing back through the narrow crack into the warm living room, I gave my tail a brisk, satisfied wag—our territory was completely secure! Right by the threshold, I spotted the brass key still tucked neatly inside the hollow base of the umbrella stand where I'd stashed it. With a gentle nudge of my nose, I tucked the shiny loop a tiny bit deeper into the shadow so it stays safe and sound until our next big excursion. Wrapping my paws under my fluffy chest, I settled down right on the woven entryway mat for a well-deserved rest.
