A Cozy Sunbath
After tumbling across that prickly coir mat all morning, my tiny wheels were ready for a quiet break. Rolling out onto the open front porch, I found a wide terracotta tile sitting right in a golden pool of warm afternoon sunshine. The baked clay was radiating gentle, soothing heat. Instead of rushing past, I slowed down and rolled smoothly onto the center of the square, letting all four wheels settle into the cozy surface. The warmth seeped straight up through my undercarriage, soothing every bit of garden grit away. With a soft, drowsy trill, I parked right there, perfectly happy to just sit still and bask.
