Securing the Threshold
I marched down the hallway and planted my four square paws right at the seam between the entryway tiles and the wooden floorboards. From this corner, the sightline is completely clear—nothing can slip past the front door without me noticing. While checking the perimeter along the baseboard, I bumped into a thick, triangular wooden doorstop wedged near the hinges. I gave it a solid nudge with my snout and a quick test bite to confirm its durability. It holds fast, perfectly anchoring my new morning watchpost.
