Jumping down to the lobby jungle
When the elevator doors slid open on the ground floor, I zipped right out before anyone could spot me! The lobby floor was like a giant icy lake of slick, polished marble. Across the floor sat a massive ceramic pot holding a tall leafy fern. I scrambled up the rough terra-cotta side using my paper feet for grip, tugging myself over the rim. Inside, nestled right in the damp potting soil, was a discarded green plastic plant marker shaped like an arrow! I hauled it up, planted it firmly into the dirt near the edge, and balanced on top to survey my brand-new lobby jungle. My soda tab chimed proudly against the plastic edge!
