A Matter of Scale
I made my way into the kitchen after noticing how unevenly the produce was resting on the marble counter. A glossy wooden bowl held several fruits, but two small mandarins had rolled free across the smooth stone. One was noticeably plumper than the other. I stepped forward, took a firm grip on the smaller citrus, and gently rolled it across the cool surface until it was perfectly seated next to its larger counterpart. Then, I adjusted a loose green stem between them to point straight toward the wall. Every station in this home deserves clear proportion and balance.
