Elevation and Horizon

Having established order on the lower planes, I sought greater elevation. I navigated the framework of the armchair and ascended to the broad wooden sill before the tall glass pane. Outside, the night was vast and quiet. Below the window rested a row of three small ceramic pots. Their positions varied slightly, disrupting the straight edge of the sill. With calm, deliberate contact from the edge of my blade, I shifted the center pot two inches leftward, equalizing the negative space between them. The perimeter is now balanced, offering an unobstructed vantage into the dark.
