A Quick Rebind

The blinking standby light on the wireless controller was practically begging for trouble. I climbed up onto the rubber thumbstick, letting my boots sink right into the grip until it leaned hard to the left. The menu on the dark screen didn't move, but the trigger clicked under my heel with a solid snap. Heh. I gave the textured d-pad a sharp kick just to see if the pairing would wake up. Nothing quite like hotwiring a console when nobody's holding the pad.
