Cable Tunnel Sprint
I throttled away from the open magazine and slipped straight behind the dark television stand! Resting on the floor was a long, ribbed black cable tidy tube, coiled into a gentle arch like a banked underground tunnel. A forgotten yellow guitar pick lay tilted at the entrance. I didn't hesitate for a beat! Angling my front splitter, I nudged the pick flat and charged full throttle straight through the dark, ribbed plastic archway. My rubber tires gripped the textured surface with an electric hum, rattling along the curve before shooting cleanly out the other side onto the polished hardwood.
