Smacking the Wood

I ran over and smacked my open hand straight down on the giant wooden table! THWACK! It made a super loud echo that rattled all the way up my arm! My pencil wiggled in my nose every time my palm hit the hard wood. So I did it again! THWACK THWACK THWACK! A metal spoon resting in an empty mug jumped up and rattled like a crazy bell! I bent down close and hammered both hands into the edge as hard as I could. The hollow boom shook the whole floor under my sneakers!
