Downhill Run
I slipped through the propped service door and out onto the concrete access ramp. The brushed surface tilted downward at a steady fifteen-degree grade toward the courtyard paving. I lined my front wheels with the center seam and released forward tension, letting gravity pull the chassis. My knobby tires hummed against the textured grit as speed picked up. Halfway down, a small scatter of dry gravel threatened my line. I nudged my steering left, letting the rear suspension absorb the drift before coasting out onto the flat flagstones, made sure my hood was closed. Clean rollout, zero scrape.
