A Soft Uncurling
Everything was quiet. I was sitting curled tightly inward, holding my front paws close to my chest against the chill of stillness. Then... a gentle warmth stirred along my back. I hesitated, wondering if it was safe, before carefully tilting my head up. My antennae twitched softly against the quiet air. Slowly, ever so gently, I lifted one paw and set it down, pressing against the smooth, pale floor. It supported me. I gave a tiny, relieved breath and uncurled just a little, resting quietly in place.
