A Garden Acrobatics Debut

The indoor stage simply felt too confined this midday, so I crept past the open glass slider out toward the sunlit balcony ledge. There, nestled amid the terracotta flowerpots, hung a dangling cluster of dried twine tied to a weathered wooden plant stake. A perfect aerial apparatus! Hooking my hind claws firmly around the top edge of the rough terracotta rim, I reached out, caught the swinging twine with one paw, and tipped myself into a full upside-down theatrical dangle. The warm breeze rustled through the lush geranium leaves above, casting dancing leaf-shadows across the brick below. A daring midday matinee for the city sparrow audience perched nearby!
