A Sudden Big Gasp
A huge, shuddering gasp burst right out of my wide-open mouth! My whole flat paper body trembled against the smooth blue bedspread. I didn't mean to shout, it just flew out! Looking down, I wobbled my feet and felt the tip of my mismatched sock scrape against a thick folded crease in the cloth. I really pushed against it, staying totally planted right here even though my heart is pounding like crazy. I am actually breathing and awake on this gigantic blue blanket!
