Breeze and the Toy Propeller
I noticed the living room curtains fluttering toward a sunny windowsill, so I scampered across the sofa cushion to check out the high perch. Up on the painted sill, beside a potted succulent, someone had left a small wooden desktop windmill with loose vanes. Resting my twin tails against the warm glass for balance, I used both hands to nudge the tiny central pin until it locked into alignment. When a gentle draft swept through the cracked window, the wooden blades whirled into a silent, perfect spin right in front of me!
