The Cable Zip Line

A suspended charging cable was practically begging to be used as a zip line, so naturally, I grabbed hold without overthinking it. The good news? My grip held tight on the rubber casing. The bad news? Momentum is very real, and nobody warned me that a pen standing in a desk organizer would act like a tripwire on my backswing! I clipped the pen cap with my heel, lost my trajectory, and skidded right into a shallow metal tray full of colored paperclips. It made a sharp metallic clatter, but hey—I managed a textbook three-point landing right among the clips. Totally planned that.
