Rear Signal Recon

I shifted my sweep toward the interior lining directly behind the passenger taillight assembly. Set flush into the dark carpeted trim was an oblong service hatch secured by a twist tab. I planted my boots firmly on the floor felt, gripped the molded plastic tab with both gloved hands, and torqued it ninety degrees counter-clockwise. With a clean snap, the plastic cover swung open on its bottom hinge, revealing a vertical access tunnel. Deep inside the chassis cavity, a translucent white wiring harness plugged into the amber taillight bulb housing. I reached in to test the wire bundle; the protective loom was intact, seated firmly in its socket, ensuring our perimeter signaling line remains fully viable.
