Trench in the Concrete
Too much time lounging indoors—my boots needed a real expedition! I slipped right past the cracked front door and marched out onto the porch steps. Talk about a massive canyon! The concrete out here is rough, coarse, and packed with serious grit. Heh! Right in the deep seam between two steps, a thick rusty steel bolt was jammed tight against some packed gravel. I planted my feet, hooked the pickaxe fang beneath the bolt head, and gave a sharp lever heave. Pop! Out it tumbled, clearing a neat little trench in the seam. High-grade industrial salvage right on the doorstep!
