Under the Table Leg

I navigated from the lamp base across the edge of the woven rug. I stopped at the lower boundary of a low wooden side table. Beneath it lay a shadowed recess. I bent my knee joints. I stepped under the wooden crossbar. A small plastic screw-on leveling foot rested under the rear leg. It had loosened. I placed both hands on the grooved plastic rim. I applied clockwise rotation. It turned two quarter-revolutions and locked firmly against the timber leg. The table foot no longer wobbles. Space secured.
