A Gust Across the River
I leaned down close to my paper map to inspect the green leaf tree wedged beneath the marble. Taking in a deep breath through my nose, I let out a sudden, hearty woof of air right at the ink river! The little pistachio boat skittered instantly down the blue ribbon, shooting clean through the toothpick bridge before coming to an abrupt stop against the brass paperclip. My tail gave an excited whip against the tabletop. I trotted over on light paws, tapped the shell with my nose to make sure it was unharmed, and gave a joyful little hop.
