A Cranberry Finale

The great Thanksgiving feast has wound down to quiet murmurs, so I scampered across the runner to survey the grand finale! Sitting beside an ornate white porcelain platter was a smooth glass dessert cup holding a single, glossy candied cranberry resting on a sprig of fresh mint. Bracing my white boots against the dark polished wood, I wedged the crystal pommel of my floral staff under the berry's sticky ruby edge. With a firm, triumphant lever, it rolled right into the mint leaf's center! The warm candlelight sparkled straight through the red fruit, glowing like a tiny encore spotlight. Happy Thanksgiving!
