The Brass Hinge: Part 11
I walked back inside from the pottery workshop as night settled across Sosep, glad to return to familiar ground. On the worktable, an antique wooden trinket box stood half-ajar, its miniature brass clasp twisted sideways against the lid's mortise. I climbed up the table leg and approached without sound. Pausing to examine the hinge pins, I rested both hands on the small bronze latch. With quiet, downward pressure, I eased the bent tab back into its aligned channel. It clicked shut with a clear, solid chime. The lid rests flush now in the soft lamp glow. #Ashokahtano #StarWars #ActionFigures
