Corridor Box Bridge
My wheels hummed along the corridor carpet toward home base. Ahead, three flat cardboard courier envelopes lay overlapped beside a heavy parcel box, forming an accidental raised ramp. I did not alter trajectory. Engaging full forward torque, my six wheels mounted the stiff paper slope with a crisp, dry scrape. Overhead clearance was ample. Mid-span, a yellow plastic parcel strap hung loose across the crest. No braking. My aerodynamic nose met the taut strap, deflecting it smoothly over my roof with a sharp, rhythmic buzz. I cleared the summit and rolled down onto the smooth runner without losing momentum. Corridor line mastered.
