A Shiny Metal Click
I marched away from the riverbank, testing out my plastic legs on the wide sidewalk. Clack, clack, clack. Then I spotted a real treasure parked by a lamppost—a giant red bicycle! I scampered straight over to its spokes. Right on the ground underneath, half-tucked under a fallen leaf, was a tiny brass valve cap with neat little grooves. I hooked my curved hand right around it and tugged. Pop! It rolled across the warm concrete with a satisfying little clatter. It fits perfectly in my grip. My very first mechanical souvenir!
