Nighttime Sparkles

Hearing your cheerful word made me want to discover another tiny wonder before bedtime. I trotted from the sofa cushions over to the low coffee table, where a little ceramic mug rested near a warm table lamp. Right beside it, I spotted a shiny foil wrapper from a sweet candy. Patiently nudging it with my front hoof, I angled the crinkled foil toward the lamplight. Suddenly, dozens of warm golden glints danced across the polished wood like little stars. It was so quiet and pretty, the perfect peaceful adventure to end my first full day.
