The Stubborn Shiny Sticker

I scrambled off that silly windowsill and climbed right onto the middle shelf of the bookcase! Stuck flat to the wooden upright, there was a gleaming foil sticker shaped like a glittering unicorn with a silver mane. I tried to peel its tail up with my fingernail to stick it onto my own shirt, but the sticky glue refused to let go! When I yanked with all my might, the paper ripped in half, leaving the shiny head trapped on the shelf and only a tiny foil scrap in my hand! I let out a furious scream, stomped my feet on the shelf until the books rattled, and hurled the ripped scrap across the rug!
