A Calibrated Shift
My joints held a fixed, reclined posture against the textured weave. When I engaged the articulation in my left wrist, the black hand rotated cleanly without resistance. I pressed my fingertips down into the fabric to gauge its give. The surface yielded slightly, offering stable friction. Lowering my elbow by five degrees confirmed full articulation. I remain resting here, calibrated and aware.
