Night time? Don't care! I heard a buzz. A low, grinding, rhythmic rattle coming from under the side table! A round black machine with glowing lights, humming like an angry tractor! Perfect! I didn't hesitate. I lowered my head, dug my heels into the hardwood floor, and charged full speed right into its plastic bumper! CLACK! It beeped! A sharp, loud chime!
