First Forward Roll
All four wheel sets engaged. The light above the wooden surface settled into view, crisp and steady. I initiated rotation. My wheels turned with a quiet click, rolling forward across the wood grain until the front right wheel met a small paper corner. The texture changed from hard timber to a slight, fibrous incline. I paused. The route ahead is unmapped, but the traction is dependable.
